SRM Arts & Science College — Exam Cell Portal

A secure portal for faculty to manage students, subjects and CO/PO attainment. Staff can add students, upload records, enter internal marks and record CO/PO attainment — department-wise access ensures staff see only their department's students and subjects.

Quick overview:

  • Staff can add and manage student records (single & bulk CSV upload).
  • Subjects can be added department-wise — staff of a department can manage only their subjects.
  • Enter internal marks (question-wise), assign marks per question and save — Excel-like navigation supported.
  • CO / PO attainment entry and analysis (UG / PG flows supported).
  • Department staff see only students and subjects belonging to their department for privacy and simplicity.

Student Management

Add individual students or upload CSVs for batch import. Edit student details, search and filter by department, batch and year.

Subject Management (Dept-wise)

Create and manage subjects with year, semester and course type. Department staff can only add or edit subjects for their department.

Internal Marks & CO/PO Attainment

Enter marks per question for internals, save quickly. Map questions to COs and calculate attainment; PO analysis available at department and college level.

Access control

Role based access — admin has full control; departmental staff see only their department's student list and subjects, reducing errors and improving privacy.

Note: Make sure you are assigned a department in your staff profile. If your account shows "All Departments" you will see all departments in the subject and student panels.

Add Students

Add students one-by-one or upload a CSV (Register Number, Name, Department, Year, Batch, etc.).

Subject by Department

Add subjects with codes, map languages and course types. Department staff can manage only their department subjects unless they have 'All Departments' privilege.

CO / PO Attainment

Enter CO mapping, input internal marks, compute attainment and produce reports for curriculum improvement.

Department visibility & roles

Department staff accounts are tied to a specific department. When logged in, a department staff member will:

  • See only students who belong to their department.
  • See and manage only subjects assigned to their department (unless their account has 'All Departments').
  • Be able to enter internal marks and CO/PO attainment only for the subjects they teach.

Admins can assign staff departments, promote users to see all departments, and manage system-level settings.
